A Tournament
A Tournament will be played in KO System playing 1 round each day. Each match will consist of 2 simultaneous games, one with white pieces and the other with black pieces. The rate of play will be 2 hours for all moves + 30 seconds per move. In case of draw, a tie-break match will be played, also with 2 simultaneous games at rapid rate of play (15 mins + 10 sec/move or so). In case of draw, an Armaggedon game will be played. All players who lose each round will be redirected to Tournament B except the last 16 players who will play for the prizes.
B Tournament
The system of play will be like in A Tournament. Those losing their matches in Tournament B will be redirected, if wanted, to the C Tournament with the same points like the leader of this tournament.
C Tournament
C Tournament will be an International Open, played on a single board and the rate of play will be 90 minutes + 30 seconds/move. Players can be registered directly to the Open to play there from round 1
Blitz Tournament
In the morning groups of 12 players will be formed and they will play a round robin. In the afternoon they will play play-off matches for the prizes.
Initial ranking and pairings
- A Tournament: on the first thay all players will be sorted according to their FIDE rating and the first 32 will be awarded the first 32 numbers. All other numbers will be assigned by lot. With these numbers the pairing tree will be made in which the number 1 will play with the last number, etc. The pairing tree will not be changed.
- B Tournament: in each round, the players list will be reordered according to the FIDE rating of players playing the 1st with the last and so on, avoiding to repeat pairings.
- C Tournament: Swiss System based on Rating. Players entering from Tournament B will be awarded the number of points of the leader of the tournament. Players may take up to 2 half-point byes (except in the last two rounds).
- Blitz Tournament: groups will be made according to rating.
These tournaments will not be valid for FIDE rating.
Bonita iniciativa.
