We are preparing a tournament to be played in late 2011 and early 2012 commemorating the legendary chess tournaments organised in San Sebastian in 1911 and 1912.

We are now giving 3 details about the tournament, and will be providing more information in coming weeks:

• Prize fund of 100.000 €
• Tournament will be played using K.O. system and creating one more parallel tournament for the losers of the first round and an International Open.
• Each player will play each round 2 simultaneous games, one with white and the other with black.

We will have many sponsors and helpers to the tournament, one of them will be Gros Xake Taldea which will provide the venue of the tournament from 28th of December 2011 to 5th of January 2012.
